Emergency Management Training Exercise
Pembina is currently conducting a scheduled emergency response training exercise in your community.
During these exercises, we simulate emergency scenarios to test and improve our response plans. Please be assured this is only a drill. No release has occurred, and there is no risk to the public or the environment.
While in the area, you may notice:
- Specialized Equipment: We may be deploying emergency response equipment, which can include boats, floating containment booms, wildlife protection gear, or response vehicles.
- First Responders: Local fire, police, and emergency services are fully aware of this exercise and may be on-site participating alongside our teams.
- Public Access: Public access to local parks, trails, and waterways will generally not be impacted, though minor, temporary detours may be in place to ensure the safety of the public and our crews.
We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary activity may cause. Emergency management training is a vital part of our commitment to protecting the environment and the communities where we operate. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
